Early Bird Discount 2014

Below are my currently planned 2014 NLP training dates.

More courses may be added through the year depending on demand.

Next year I am doing things a little bit differently. After doing some consultation, research and consideration I am reconfiguring the NLP Practitioner training in Birmingham back into a 7 day block training. The courses in Cardiff will currently remain two 3-day modules. I am doing this to match the needs and desires of my trainees. I ran NLP Practitioner trainings as 7 days blocks until 2008 when I reconfigured them into the 2 modules. At the time modular training was more in demand, but now the trend seems to have shifted back to block trainings.

Paying In Instalments

I appreciate that NLP training can be a significant investment, one that will give you a massive return on investment, but a significant investment nonetheless. I am always looking for ways to help people who find it difficult to pay the full amount all at once. I do my best to keep on top of funding schemes (work with the DWP and The WAG on their back to work schemes like ReAct) and offer payment plans.

You can now pay in much more easily manageable 6 monthly instalments.

As long as the first instalment is made before the start of the course you can also spread the payment over the end of the course. We either set up a reoccurring payment in PayPal or set up a standing order with your bank for the monthly amount.

Matt Caulfield NLP

It is just under two weeks until the start of my autumn training schedule and I still have a few last minute places to be filled.

Usually I ask for full payment seven days before the start of the course but, as the courses are only a few weeks away, I am extending the payment period to after the end. All I need at the time of booking is a 10% deposit to secure your place.

Upcoming courses are:

NLP Practitioner, Birmingham – with complimentary iPad

Module 1: 29-31 Nov
Module 2: 06-08 Dec

The Details:

  2. If you are a private individual, I just need a 10% deposit at the time of booking, you can then pay the full balance after the course or spread the payments in easily manageable instalments.

Why wait? Take advantage of this offer and train in NLP now.

In this videoblog, I beg you to check your references when teaching NLP and related fields. By not knowing your references you are opening yourself, and by association, NLP up to criticism and a lack of credibility.

NLP VideoBlog Episode 18: My New NLP Training Marketing Strategy

In this episode I discuss my new NLP Training marketing strategy which is just promoting three things:

Do you want to be able to win ‘heads or tails’ every single time?
Do you want a nice shiny iPad?
Do you want to remember 20 or more things (in order) every single time?

There we go. If you do, then go here to sign up to my NLP Practitioner training (you will learn a lot more as well, I promise!)

So, why should you do (and not do) NLP training? Here I give you a few reasons why you may not consider NLP as the best thing to train in, but also some reasons why you may want to do an NLP training.

My sincere apologies for not having written a proper blog entry for so long.

Since the start of May my calendar has been chockablock full of things to do. Mainly training. Including my public NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner trainings as well as several in houses courses. In between I have only had the opportunity to work with my one to one clients, do some behind the scenes things (you may have noticed the ongoing facelift of this site) and just about keep up with my correspondence and that is about it!

It means something had to give and sadly that was this blog, my videoblogs and my social networking pages (my facebook page in particular is long overdue for a bit of a refresh). Now we are heading into the summer months (not that you would be able to tell by the weather) and, traditionally my quieter time when it comes to trainings, so I very much aim to get back on with this on a regular basis.

What’s Coming Up?

My upcoming trainings are selling out fast! If you want to book please do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

27th July – NLP Practitioner Cardiff –  2 places left

14th September – Clinic Hypnotherapy Diploma 4 places left

5th October – NLP Practitioner Birmingham6 places left

26th October – Coaching for Change2 places left

There is a massive trend at the moment to list your wares on these discount sites that have suddenly exploded all over the internet. This may be fine if you are running a restaurant, or hairdressers, or even doing one to one coaching/therapy.

But it is not an effective strategy for advertising trainings.

The only person who benefits from the sale is the discount site. Simple as that.

You may be thinking that you are getting a good deal as a customer, but you are not.

Think about it for a second. If the company runs a course that is priced at a £1000 (for ease of maths). The discount sites demand that they offer at least a 75% discount, so that is £250, they will then have to pay the discount site 50% in commission, so they will be getting a grand total of £125 per person for what should be a £1000 course.

This means the companies are running the course at a (big) LOSS.

This is not a good thing for you as a trainee.

Why? Well, they have to recoup that loss somehow. Which means they will cut costs and reduce the overall quality of the training, using a substandard venue for example, or they will wedge more people into the training, giving you a less personal experience (maybe cutting the amount of trainers or assistants), or  (and this is the worst) use the whole training as basically a marketing exercise to get you to book on another more expensive course. This means you will get a substandard training which won’t fulfil  your requirements.

If two car dealers were offering what seemed the same car, and one was offering it at a 75% discount to get you to buy it. Would you trust them? Would you buy it?

Companies who use these discount sites are DESPERATE for your business. If they think that the only way they can attract you is by giving you dirt cheap trainings, what does that tell you about what they think about the quality of their course?

I am committed to offering quality NLP trainings to small groups and have been for the last 10 years. I cannot do this (nor, do I think, can anyone) by offering massively discounted trainings. I have had these discount companies constantly calling me up and I have turned them down every time.

Do you want quality or do you want cheap?
