Knowledge ISN’T Power.

So what is?

Wisdom is power.

What is Wisdom?

Wisdom is applied knowledge.

Knowledge if you do nothing with it is worthless.

I have met so many what I like to call “Armchair NLP’ers” who can talk NLP all day, they can define complex equivalents and transderivational searches, can discuss the meaning of certain behaviours, break down people communication styles into nicely labelled pigeonholes.

But they haven’t taken that learning, that knowledge and applied it to their own lives. They cannot use it to effectively change anyone or anything. Meaning all that knowledge is pointless.

NLP isn’t an academic subject, it is a practical one. You DO NLP. Someone who applies a single area of NLP to their lives will be 100 times better off than someone who thinks they know the subject inside out but doesn’t use it.
